Wow - $4 a gallon!

I thought I'd post this just for the record. I'd like to think that gas prices would start to go down now that it's hit this high but unfortunately, I know better. That scooter I was looking at the other day is looking more and more tempting!

Motivational Thought for the Day

An optimist is a person who sees a green light everywhere.  The pessimist sees only the red light.  But the truly wise person is color blind.

Grocery Inventory

So, I'm just finishing up coming up with a list of all of the food that I currently own. It's amazing to me that I've managed to build up such a collection of food. The nice thing, is that almost all of it is stuff that I would use on a regular basis and now that I have a complete listing of it, I will start doing so. Anyway, for anyone curious, you can check out the list here.

Little duck

Its early Friday morning and this little duck was just sitting by the bushes this morning when I got to work. It watched closely to see if it needed to run but just hung out and watched what was going on.

“The winner’s edge is not in a gifted birth, a high IQ, or in talent.  The winner’s edge is all in the attitude, not aptitude.  Attitude is the criterion for success.”

Sunset

Its not that I don't like where I live but change is always good. However, what a sunset! Sometimes you can't help but feel that things are done just for you!
